“Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean.”

The proposed Edmonton Arena District is more than an ice rink where we’ll go to cheer on the hometown team. It’s a reinvigorating of our city centre, the initial foray towards sustainable development, and a bold declaration that Edmonton is indeed a city with a bright and exciting future.
Our city is competing with the likes of Vancouver and Toronto and the world class urban lifestyle they provide. If Edmonton is to retain and groom its next generation of leaders, thinkers, and action-takers, it must grow to meet their expectations. The EAD is the first step in that growth.
This vision of what Edmonton can become can’t happen without your help. While letters, emails and phone calls to elected officials are all crucial to the redevelopment of your downtown, there’s more that can be done.
A group of pro-arena action takers are planning an informal, non-political get-together where we can exchange ideas and information and you’re invited. If you’re interested and you’d like to attend, drop me a line here and you’ll be the first to know when details are available.
The Edmonton Arena District and downtown redevelopment are crucial to the future of our city. This is our chance to work together and create something magnificent for all Edmontonians.
